Final Major Project: Sabriel

This Image and the resultant costumes represent the sum total of three years of study. based on the high fantasy novel Sabriel by Australian Author Garth Nix these two costumes consisting of Shirt, Kilt and Gambeson for the character of prince Touchstone a man suspended in time for over 200 years, and a gown and surcoat for the character of Sabriel a mage, swordswoman and titular character. These costumes include examples of embroidery, smocking, quilting, painting and pleating used for the kilt.
