The deerstalker

Sherlock Holmes style deer stalker hat made of tweed wool for the outer fabric. The brim uses buckram to create and maintain its shape. The lining fabric is a cotton blend. Since the deerstalker has such a distinctive silhouette highlighting this was a key focus.

Purple Wool and Buckram Top hat

Buckram top hat covered in lightweight wool fabric. Lace has been used to created a stencilled pattern around the crown. Wide ribbon surrounds the crowns base and its lined in a pure cotton. This hat was inspired by the mad hatter hat.

Napoleonic Bicorn

Black wool felted Napoleonic bicorn with grosgrain cockade in revolutionary French colours bound using satin bias binding. Whilst the Bicorn can be work either side on of point forward since its based on one worn in the film waterloo this version is designed to be worn side on.

Titanic: Roses' boarding hat

Titanic rose boarding hat made of sinamay with a cotton bow around the crown of the hat. Colour has been slightly altered to a brighter purple. My first proper experiment with sinamay as a material. Plenty of room for improvement but a foundation to build upon if nothing else.
